To check compatibility, we need your phone’s IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. It’s a unique identifier that helps us determine whether your device works with the Midco Mobile network.
What is an IMEI?
An IMEI is a unique 15-digit number that every device has. Think of this as a fingerprint for your phone. We can use your IMEI to see if your current phone will work on the network Midco uses for mobile services.
How do I find my IMEI?
There are several ways to find your IMEI. You can:

Go to Settings > General > About and scroll down to find the IMEI.

Check the back of your phone or the original packaging.
Are you seeing more than one IMEI number?
Don’t panic. Certain devices have multiple IMEI numbers. You can use either one to check your phone’s compatibility.

To bring your phone to Midco Mobile, it must be unlocked, which means it’s not restricted to another carrier. If your phone is still locked, don’t worry. Most carriers will unlock it for free once it’s paid off in full.
Use the steps below to find out if your phone is locked and learn how to unlock it. Once it’s unlocked, you’re good to go with Midco Mobile.
How do I check if my phone is locked or unlocked?
Look at your device settings in the About section. Scroll down and keep your eye out for any of the following:
No SIM restrictions
Unlocked
Network unlocked
If you see a phrase similar to any of the above, your phone is most likely unlocked.
If you see a message that says SIM restricted or SIM not supported, your devices is probably locked.
To check the status of your phone, you can also:
Try a different SIM card
Call the carrier that originally locked the phone
Contact the manufacturer
What happens if I try to use a locked phone?
Unfortunately, it won’t work. Locked phones can’t activate on our network.
How do I unlock my phone?
If you know your phone is locked, contact your current carrier. They may be able to give you the most accurate information as to the status of your phone. They may require you to pay off your phone or finish your contract before unlocking it.

About Midco Mobile Data Plans
Eligibility: You may be eligible for up to 10 lines (including tablets) depending on your credit score. Midco Internet required. If a Midco Internet subscription isn't maintained, an additional $10 per-line monthly charge to Unlimited and Unlimited Plus plans will be applied.
Devices: Devices are shipped to the Midco Internet service address on file. If you no longer subscribe to Midco Internet service, the device(s) may be shipped to an alternate address.
International Long Distance Calls & Texts: Midco Mobile offers competitive rates for talk and text in over 200 countries worldwide. Calls to Canada and Mexico from the U.S. are included with your Midco Mobile service. International calling rates to other countries around the world vary. Texting from the U.S. to any country is also included with your service at no extra charge.
Video Streaming: DVD-Quality video streaming is supported by all data plans for phones and tablets. Video typically streams at 480p for Unlimited plans.
Mobile Access Point: There are no additional fees for using your Midco Mobile device as an access point. Normal data rates apply to mobile access point data usage. Depending on the data plan you have, download and upload speeds may be reduced after a certain amount of mobile access point data use each month.
