Did Midco build its own cellular network?

No, we partnered with a national provider to use their network and bring customers a solid connection wherever they go.

Do I need Midco internet to sign up for Midco Mobile?

Yes, you must be a Midco internet customer in order to sign up for Midco Mobile. Explore the internet speeds available at your address.

What happens if I go over my data limit on the Flex plan?

If you use more than 1 gig of data on the Flex plan, you will be charged $15 for each additional gig.

Can I mix and match plans for my family?

Yes! If you want the Flex plan and someone else is better suited to the Unlimited plan, you can put together the plans that work best for you.

Can I use Midco Mobile in other countries?

Yes, you can take Midco Mobile with you around the world. Check out a full list of countries and their international roaming fees.

Does Midco Mobile support 5G phone plans?

Absolutely. All Midco Mobile plans include nationwide 5G coverage, and most current devices are 5G-ready.

Is there a contract or activation fee?

With Midco Mobile, there are no contracts. We offer clear, upfront pricing and flexible monthly plans. Once you sign up, there is a $25 activation fee per line.

Device Setup

How do I switch my current phone over to your services?
  1. Select Bring Your Own Device during checkout.
  2. Make sure your phone is unlocked. You can look in your phone’s settings to see if it’s locked or unlocked from your current carrier.
  3. If unlocked, you’ll be able to switch to Midco Mobile using a SIM or eSIM. Whichever you select, you’ll be given easy-to-follow instructions to get connected.

If locked, you can contact your current carrier. They may require you to pay off your phone or finish your contract before unlocking it.

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan without a physical SIM card.


eSIMs let you switch between carriers more easily, use dual SIM features and get connected faster, without waiting for a card to ship.

HCan I buy a new phone at your Customer Experience Center?

No, but you can explore all our available phones online. If you need help ordering a phone or setting up your new phone, you can contact us or stop by one of our CXCs.

How do I know I my phone will work with Midco Mobile?

We will use your phone’s IMEI number to see if it is compatible with our network.

What is an IMEI number?

An IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number is a 15-digit number assigned to every phone.

How do I find my phone’s IMEI number?

There are several ways to locate the IMEI number:

OR
Go to Settings > General > About and scroll to find the IMEI number.
OR
Check the back of your phone or the original packing.

What if I see more than one IMEI number?

Some phones actually have multiple IMEI numbers. We can use either one to check your phone’s compatibility.

What if my phone is not compatible?

If your phone is older or locked, you may need to purchase a new phone.

Can I purchase a phone from somewhere else?

Yes, you’ll simply need to select Bring Your Own Device during checkout.
