Unlock your phone.

To bring your phone to Midco Mobile, it must be unlocked, which means it’s not restricted to another carrier. If your phone is still locked, don’t worry. Most carriers will unlock it for free once it’s paid off in full.

Use the steps below to find out if your phone is locked and learn how to unlock it. Once it’s unlocked, you’re good to go with Midco Mobile.

How do I check if my phone is locked or unlocked?

    Look at your device settings in the About section. Scroll down and keep your eye out for any of the following:

  • No SIM restrictions
  • Unlocked
  • Network unlocked
  • If you see a phrase similar to any of the above, your phone is most likely unlocked.

If you see a message that says SIM restricted or SIM not supported, your device is probably locked.

    To check the status of your phone, you can also:

  • Try a different SIM card
  • Call the carrier that originally locked the phone
  • Contact the manufacturer

What happens if I try to use a locked phone?

Unfortunately, it won’t work. Locked phones can’t activate on our network.

How do I unlock my phone?

If you know your phone is locked, contact your current carrier. They may be able to give you the most accurate information as to the status of your phone. They may require you to pay off your phone or finish your contract before unlocking it.
